retro maine cottage to LOVE!

This past weekend we were up in Maine and we went to visit my aunt and uncle's camp on the lake. This is the most amazing cottage you have ever seen! When they bought this place it was completely run down and an absolute mess! The two of them put long hours, a lot of hard work, and a lot of love into this huge renovation. They restored the entire thing to it's original 50's look and it is absolutely stunning! They worked hard to find all original 50's appliances and accessories. They kept the cottage's original furniture and reupholstered it-- it looks perfect! They even had this amazing old turquoise truck parked in the driveway! I could not stop snapping photos and I had to share it with all of you! Erin over at house of turquoise, one of my absolute favorite blogs that I can't live without, was also kind enough to post the photos!! I have a bunch more photos to post so be on the lookout... wait until you see the pink and white bathroom, it's adorable!

Good Eats in Portland,ME

If I still lived in Maine you can bet that I would be running over to Good Eats Boutique in Portland today to stock up on all these delicious sweets! I think I would have a tough time chosing between the cheesecake and the chocolate chip cookies... A stop by there will have to wait until my next trip up to Maine, but for all of you that are able to go to this wonderful little sugar heaven sooner you can find them at 463 Stevens Ave in Portland.
