NEW BOUTIQUE...NEW BLOG!!
Hello dear friends! I apologize for being so out of touch for so long...but I have a good reason! I have not had time to blog because I have been super busy opening a NEW BOUTIQUE! We just opened our doors to our new shop, WEBSTER ROAD, on Saturday! We are located in the quaint, seaside town of Mystic, Connecticut (about 5 mins away from our home!).
The store was a huge undertaking... but well worth it in the end. The space that we took over was painted in literally three of the worst shades of blue ever, had a gross old blue/gray carpet (ripped that right up!), and was in major need of a facelift! My fiance spend days in there painting many, many coats of fresh white paint...and a little dark navy too on the front and back walls. He removed the existing three giant dark brown ceiling fans and replaced them with fresh clean new white ones. We also had a new mahogany and tigerwood floor put in (which turned out to be a disaster...long story).
So, the space is looking great and we have filled it with tons of great things from Thomas Paul, Ame & Lulu, Smathers & Branson, Rifle Paper Co., Egg Press, French Bull, Votivo...the list goes on and on! We like to tell people that if you need something for your beach house you can find it in our store--whether it's new dishes, a soft cotton throw, a cute new apron, a beautiful wooden bench made from reclaimed wood or a new book to curl up with!
